Thanks Opa for teaching me to be diligent, patient, and humble. I was quite fortunate, compared to the other grandkids, to be able to spend most of my childhood with you in Bandung.

You have many admirable qualities. In particular, your ability to unite people is awe-inspiring.

Thanks for inspiring me to be a better cook! Maybe the reason why I went to culinary school, is because I watched you cook all my life.
